You know how there’s the stereotype of in-laws that don’t like you but they are nice and polite while your spouse is the same room as you. As soon as your spouse leaves the room, they drop the act and give looks or say things they normally wouldn’t say if they were around.
I have been married for almost three years, I will openly admit my in-laws love me just as much as my wife does. There may be members that I may question sometimes with their choices, but as my beloved wife says “not my circus, not my monkeys”. And I will admit, if it’s not under our roof, what they do is not our problem.
My wife is at work, so rather be at our place with the fur kids and risk my head going into a bad place, I thought go out see the in-laws. Besides social benefits, I get free dinner where I don’t have to cook. And I stayed for the big Detroit game. They invited me to watch with them in the morning.
A member of the family that couldn’t be at my in-laws house for the game and wanted a family picture taken with everyone. I volunteered to take the picture. Got my phone into selfie mode to take the picture. I have an iPhone and an Apple Watch. I have the phone in the hand that has the watch is on that wrist. I am not a good selfie photographer.
I accidentally started a video rather than taking a delayed photo. My wrist wasn’t good at holding a position. Took about 4 tries before getting a good picture with everyone visible. My wrist wants to move rather than hold still to take a good photo.
Lions have 14 and 49ers are down. But I know it’s too soon to celebrate. It only matters when the 4th quarter is over.
