Saint or Sinner

Call me a sinner,
call me a saint,
It doesn’t matter.

Call me a sinner,
for I made a deal with
the darkness years ago.

A deal for inner strength,
that turned into a burning ambition
to be superior than others.

Call me a saint,
for I have accepted,
my life has been bought
in blood from Jesus Christ.

I have been cleansed
by the Holy Spirit.

Call me a sinner,
for I have killed and butchered
many people in my mind
and dreamed for revenge
in blood.

Call me a saint
for I have protected
everyone around me from the darkness
that dwelled inside me,
by sacrificing myself
and parts of my sanity.

Sinners are wicked people
both internally and in their outward actions.

Saints are paragons of good and just,
swearing their lives for
the greater good of all people.

Call me a sinner,
call me a saint,
Does it matter?
